Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Adriana Chefan. My husband,
Jack, and I live with three beautiful Bernese Mt. Dogs. I am a member of
the Heart of Michigan Bernese Mt. Dog Club and the Bernese Mt. Dog
Club of America. Currently, I serve as the secretary for the HMBMDC. I
fell in love with the breed many years ago and have been heavily involved
in the breed for 5 years. I enjoy conformation, obedience, herding and
draft work with my dogs and finished my first boy, Guinness, as an
owner/handler. I strongly believe that it is very important for Berners to
not only have beauty but to also have the brains to do the jobs they were
bred to do. My goal as a breeder and stud dog owner is to produce
Bernese Mt. Dogs with exceptional temperaments, beautiful type, balance,
long lived health and working ability. These dogs are very special and fill
our lives with an amazing amount of joy and emotion. This is not only my
